A True Taste of Ottoman Excellence at Galeyan!

Wow! My recent visit to Galeyan Restaurant in Istanbul was truly exceptional. If you're looking for authentic and masterfully prepared Ottoman cuisine, this is the place to go. From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch.
The food was simply outstanding. Galeyan doesn't just serve Ottoman dishes; they elevate them. Everything we tried was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. The absolute star of the show has to be the Tandoor Lamb – incredibly tender, rich, and flavourful. It is an absolute must-try when you visit!
But honestly, everything else was just as impressive. The Ali Nazik was creamy and delicious, the Chicken Shish was perfectly grilled and juicy, the Dried Stuffed Vegetables were a delightful taste of tradition, the Mini Meat Flatbreads were savory little bites of heaven, and the Stuffed Vine Leaves were expertly made. Each dish showcased the depth and richness of Ottoman culinary heritage.
Adding to the incredible food was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire dining experience seamless and enjoyable. They truly contributed to making our meal special.

Pour y avoir été plusieurs fois lors de mon séjour à Istanbul cet été je recommande fortement ce restaurant. Le service est rapide, le personnel est attentionné et adorable et tout ce que j’ai goûté était délicieux (mention spéciale au Tavuk Şiş et à leur baklava à la pomme !). Magnifica comida en Estambul. Horno de hierro y carne y pescado a la brasa. El postre delicioso.
Ambiente agrable y restaurante muy limpio.

Çin’den gelen misafirlerimiz ile İstanbul’u gezdirip ülkemizin güzelliklerini göstermek adına Bursa’daki firmamızdan İstanbul’a geldik burda gezerken bu restoranı tercih etmek istedik ve iki masa rezervasyon yaptık geldiğimizde tur rehberimiz Abdullah Bey gördüğüm en iyi tur rehberi olabilir kendisi ile yemeğe gittik, sanırım o yüzden maalesefki bizi sanırım tur acentesi vs. Birşey sanıp bize servis yapan arkadaş sürekli üst perdeden konuşuyordu şu şekilde; misafirler için içecek istediğimizde bakın kişi başı bir hakkınız var 20 senedir bu işi yapıyorum böyle bişi görmedim öyle olamz gibi tavırlara girdi arkadaş ona sipariş verdiğimiz herşeyin parasını ödeyececeğimizi bildirip nazik bir şekilde uyardık sonrasında adana kebabı ben bir Adana’lı olarak lavaşa ekmeğe sararak yiyorum lavaş istedik 2 parça şekilde geldi biz iki masaydık sonrasında arkadaş gelip geçerken bu tavırlardan memnun olmadığımızı söyleyince siz yemeğinizi yiyin hadi kalkın ben bu işin bilmem kaç senedir varım ben bu işleri bilirim gibi 3 kişi size servis yapıyor neyinize yetmiyor gibi laflar söyledi sanki parasını vermiyoruzda arkadaş bize hayrına yediriyormuş gibi hissettik sesimi yükseltince neden müşterilerin içinde sesini yükseltiyorsun diyerek azarladı beni sanki biz müşteri değiliz :) bizi Çin’li misafirlerimizin yanında rezil ettikleri ve ülkemizi mükemmel bir şekilde temsil ettiği için kendisini kutluyorum.
